WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The University of Utah men's tennis travels to Ojai, Calif., for the 2013 Pac-12 Conference Championships, Wednesday, April 24 through Sunday, April 28. The tournament will be played in a team-tournament bracket to determine the automatic qualifier for the NCAA Championships.

Logistics:
Teams will be seeded based on won-lost percentages during regular-season Conference play. On Wednesday, matches between the Nos. 5 and 8 seeds and the Nos. 6 and 7 seeds will open play. The winners of those matches will play the Nos. 3 and 4 seeds, respectively, Thursday. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds advance directly to the semifinal round on Friday.

Teams will be seeded based on won-lost percentages during regular-season conference play. The brackets will be available on utahutes.com as well as on the Pac-12 Tennis Championships site at championships.pac-12.com/tennis.

Where:
All rounds of the championships will be played at Libbey Park in conjunction with the 113th Annual Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament. The team championship will be played on Saturday at 4 p.m.

The team finals will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks Sunday, April 28 at 6 p.m. MT.

Last Time at the Pac-12 Championships:
In their first-ever appearance at the Pac-12 Championship tournament in 2013, the seventh-seeded Utes upset the sixth-season Oregon Ducks, 4-0, during the first round of the tournament. Utah secured the doubles point and went on to sweep in singles play to advance to the second round. Rafael Davidian managed to clinch the match for Utah in singles with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Oregon's Daniel Sardu from the No. 4 position.

In the quarterfinal round, Utah suffered a 4-2 loss to the third-seeded Stanford Cardinal. Utah's two points came when Dmytro Mamedov captured an upset over 27th-ranked Ryan Thacher at the No. 2 singles position and No. 64 Slim Hamza defeated No. 113 Matt Kandath at the No. 3 spot.
