On last-second free throws:
"I hardly ever get to the line, but I just went up there with confidence and did what I do best, just shot it."
"I feel like our team is sick of losing and we knew that tonight was going to be a huge game for us, even though it was towards the end of the season. I think this win is so big for us. Going to UNLV, we are going to play our butts off and go into the tournament strong. I feel like we are an end-of-the-season team. It was like this last year, and I feel like we are motivated to win now. Our minds are set to go out and get a W."
Interim Head Coach Anthony Levrets
"All year long we have talked about every possession being the most important possession, whether it is the first play of the game or the last play of the game. You have to play every one like it is the most important. If something negative happens, we have to move to the next thing. We worked on this in practice, if it is above ten seconds on the clock, and they score, we go and push it. And we went right to it. Janita [Badon] got right into the paint and made a great play and found Iwalani. It shows our maturity, I don't know if we would have done that six weeks ago. And I am really proud of them, win or lose, they just don't quit."
On the last-minute shot:
"We do that all the time. That is a push in transition, Janita gets to the paint and then find the right wing or the left wing, and usually it is the left wing."
