SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's basketball team continues its homestand against Arizona on Friday, Jan. 18, at 7:00 p.m. MT, and takes on Arizona State on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 3:00 p.m. MT.

Friday's game against Arizona will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.

Utah will be looking to turn around its recent struggles. Arizona is the first opponent in four games that has not been ranked in the top 25.

"This time of year you like to prepare for the team that you are playing against," Utah head coach Anthony Levrets said. "We'll do some prep, but I think this week is going to be all about us. We're in a hole, there is no question about it, but this group of kids is incredible. They are great students, they are good people, they work their tails off, they are competitive, we have competitive and spirited practices, and we're going to come in as a group and figure out how to get ourselves ready to play the next game so that we can get this thing turned around. That's got to be our focal point from now until tip on Friday."

Arizona is 10-5 on the year and 2-2 in the Pac-12. The Wildcats are coming off a weekend split of the Oregon schools, falling to Oregon State, 57-48, and defeating Oregon, 100-68.

Utah holds a 12-2 all-time series lead against Arizona. Utah swept both games last season, a 65-60 overtime win in Tucson and a 73-67 victory in Salt Lake City.

Arizona State is 10-6 on the year with a 2-2 record in the Pac-12. ASU swept Oregon and Oregon State over the weekend, rallying from a 0-2 start in Pac-12 play with losses to Washington and WSU.

Utah holds an 8-4 all-time series lead against Arizona State. Last year the Utes lost a 59-51 contest in Tempe before downing the Sun Devils in Salt Lake City, 50-46.
