The Utah women's basketball team takes on Arizona State on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 3:00 p.m. MT.

Utah continues to look for its first Pac-12 win after falling in a hard-fought game to Arizona on Friday, 62-58.

"In this league that's one of the things that's great, and it's hard," Utah head coach Anthony Levrets said. "You've got to get yourself over it quickly, but it's great because you can move on to the next opportunity. Arizona State is a very good basketball team, just like everyone else in this league. We're going to have our hands full. It's not exactly the same [pressure as Arizona], but a lot of pressure, so we have a similar game plan, not too much different, which is kind of nice. We'll get to work on Arizona State and try to keep our kids in a positive frame of mind."

Last Time Out
Utah rallied from an early deficit before losing a lead in the final seconds against Arizona on Friday night, 62-58.

Three Utes scored in double figures, led by 18 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three blocks by Michelle Plouffe. Iwalani Rodrigues scored 16 points while Taryn Wicijowski scored 12 points with five rebounds.

After being down by as many as eight points in the first half and four points at halftime, 32-28, the Utes tied the game at 34-34 in the first three minutes of the second half. The score went back and forth through the second half, including nine ties. Although Utah took a one-point lead with 30 seconds left after a Rodrigues free-throw, the Utes would miss three free throws in the final 30 seconds and Arizona pulled ahead with 14 seconds remaining after a layup.

Utah falls to 9-7 on the year and 0-5 in the Pac-12 with the loss.
