The University of Utah women's basketball program hosts Arizona on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. MT.

Utah is 8-10 overall through 18 games this season and the Utes are 1-6 in league play. The Utes picked up a 59-57 win at Washington State on Jan. 19, but Utah is 0-3 in conference home games and 5-4 in the Huntsman Center overall.

Arizona has lost its first seven in conference competition and the Wildcats carry a 4-14 overall record.

Last Time Out: Utah was edged by No. 14/23 Arizona State, 65-62, on Friday, Jan. 24 in the Huntsman Center. Utah shot 52.2 (24-46) from the floor during the contest against ASU.

Plouffe Piles Up the Points: Senior forward Michelle Plouffe (Edmonton, Alberta) set her new Pac-12 season high of 22 points on Jan. 24 against No. 14/23 Arizona State. She also grabbed a game-high seven rebounds, tied her season high with four steals and handed out three assists. This was her 15th double-figure point game in 16 outings this season.

Plouffe is second in the Pac-12 with 8.1 defensive rebounds per game and is fourth in the league in total rebounds at 10.4 per game (25th in NCAA).

Plouffe is second in the league in 3-point field goal percentage (.416, 21-47), fourth with eight double-doubles (43rd in NCAA), eighth in scoring (93rd in NCAA) (18.1 per game), steals (1.9 per game) and minutes (33.9 per game), 10th (218th in NCAA) in free throw percentage (.764, 68-89), and 15th in assist-to-turnover ratio (0.8, 49-58). She also has a .416 (99-238) shooting percentage (246th in NCAA). In the league-only stats, Plouffe is third in defensive rebounds (7.6 drpg), fourth in 3-point shooting (.556, 10-18), fifth in rebounding (9.1 rpg) and 13th in scoring (16.1 ppg).

Plouffe's Record Book Update: Plouffe is now third in school history with 1,032 career boards and is 11 away from passing Deb Asper (1,042 from 1980-84) for second place. She became the fourth member of Utah's 1,000-rebound club Jan. 12 against California.

Primed Potter: Freshman forward Emily Potter (Winnipeg, Manitoba) made three of her first four field goal attempts on Jan. 24 against No. 14/23 Arizona State. She ended with a total of nine points to go with six boards and a block against ASU. Potter was fourth in the latest Pac-12 statistics (97th in NCAA) in blocked shots (1.5 per game), 10th in defensive rebounds (5.2 drpg) and field goal percentage (.466, 88-189) (150th in NCAA), 16th in rebounding (7.1 per game) and 22nd in the league in scoring (11.8 per game).

Distributing Dani: Sophomore guard Danielle Rodriguez (Downey, Calif.) is third in the Pac-12 (67th in NCAA) with 4.7 assists per game this season and ranks fifth (59th in NCAA) in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0, 84-43). She is also tied for third in the Pac-12 in minutes played (36.2 mpg). In league games only, Rodriguez is fifth in the Pac-12 in assists (3.6 apg), sixth in minutes (36.9 mpg), and eighth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5, 25-17). In the Jan. 24 tilt against ASU, Rodriguez posted 11 points off a 5-of-7 outing from the field. She has scored 10 or more points 11 times in 2013-14.

All-Time Series History: Utah has a 13-4 advantage in its series against Arizona, although the Wildcats have won two of the last three matchups.
