The Utah women's basketball team continues in Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 17, facing the Wildcats, beginning at 5:00 p.m. MT.
The Utes have won four of their last five games with a victory over Arizona State on Friday evening.
"I think we're getting back to playing the way we can," Utah head coach Anthony Levrets said. "We went through the lull, but the thing that we didn't do was stop defending. We talked about this a lot - the season is not 10 games long, it's not 20 games long, it's 30 games long, and what is your body of work at the end of it? You've got to stay true to who you are and believe in what you do and believe in your teammates. Our kids hung in there and we started to make some shots, and all the while we'll continue to guard."
Plouffe scored 21 points with a career-high 17 rebounds. Taryn Wicijowski was also in double-figure scoring with 19 points.
Utah shot 42 percent from the floor and held ASU to 27 percent shooting.
Utah is 14-10 overall and 5-8 in the Pac-12.
Arizona fell to 21st-ranked Colorado on Friday night, 55-42. The Wildcats fall to 11-13 overall, 3-10 in the Pac-12.
