Greeting Utah Fans!
We're in for a pretty exciting week of basketball and festivities. First off, our team has been progressing all season, and have come a long way. We played the top two seeds in our conference last week and it was a hard-fought battle. This week, we have the Oregon schools, and we've done everything to prepare for OSU tonight. It's going to be a great game, and the thought of redemption is clear in the minds of myself and my teammates.
Later in this week we play the Oregon Ducks, which should be a great matchup. Their style is different from OSU, like every team in the PAC-12, which makes this league so great to play in.
Also, in Saturday's game, we will honor our lone senior, Janita Badon. Janita has been a leader for Utah throughout her entire career, and she has accomplished a tremendous amount of success in her 4 years of play. Janita has led by example in her work ethic, leadership, and ultimately in the way she competes. The competitive spirit in which she plays shows her passion and love for the game. She recently was hurt during practice, but she is progressing at a speed I didn't even think was possible. Hopefully we will have her back playing soon, but for now, she's doing everything a captain and teammate can to help our team out. Our team loves Janita Badon, and we wish her nothing but happiness and success in her future endeavors!
Here's to a W against the Oregon's, and cheers to Janita!! GO UTES!!!
