SALT LAKE CITY - Utah women's basketball junior forward Michelle Plouffe has been named to the Associated Press All-America team as an honorable mention selection. It is the second-straight year Plouffe has been an AP honorable mention pick.

Plouffe is fourth in the Pac-12 with 17.2 points per game and ranks fifth in the conference with 9.1 rebounds per game. The first-team all-Pac-12 selection is third in the league in defensive rebounds (7.3) and ranks sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.348). She has 11 double-doubles this season with 10 20-point games. Plouffe set school records this year with 320 rebounds and 249 defensive rebounds. Her 602 points this season ranks fourth on the all-time single-season list at Utah.

Plouffe currently ranks ninth all-time at Utah with 1,533 career points, and is seventh with 838 career rebounds. She is third all-time at Utah with 624 career defensive rebounds.

Plouffe played for Canada at the 2012 London Olympics.

The Utes (22-13) face Kansas State in the WNIT semifinals on Wednesday, April 3, at 7:00 p.m. CT.
