Michelle Plouffe received WBCA All-American Honorable Mention.

NASHVILLE - Senior forward Michelle Plouffe has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-America Honorable Mention Team, the organization announced. Plouffe was also named to the WBCA All-Region 8 Team, the Pac-12 All-Conference Teams by both the coaches and media in 2013-14 and was also selected to the league's all-defensive team by the coaches.
Plouffe was second in the Pac-12 with 8.4 defensive rebounds per game and third in the league in total rebounds at 10.6 per game (27th in NCAA).
Plouffe was one of the most complete players in the Pac-12 after being listed among the league leaders in five other categories. She was third with 15 double-doubles (31st in NCAA), sixth (91st in NCAA) in steals (2.1 per game), seventh in minutes (34.9 per game), eighth in scoring (18.4 ppg) (76th in NCAA) and 13th in blocks (0.8 bpg). She also had a .406 (187-461) shooting percentage (234th in NCAA).
She turned in double-figures in points in 27 of 29 contests she played in this season and recorded double-digits in boards 16 times this season.
The awards continue to roll in this season for Plouffe as she was on the Naismith Trophy Early Season Watch List. A Preseason All-American Third Team selection by The Sporting News and an NCAA Senior CLASS Award nominee, Plouffe has been on the Associated Press All-American Team as an honorable mention selection each of the last two seasons. Plouffe was named the espnW National Player of the Week and Pac-12 Player of the Week on Dec. 16.
