The Utah women's basketball team is currently on a 10-day trip through Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Follow the Utes travels as they travel through Scandinavia through player diaries and photos, which will be posted each day of their trip. Today's diary entry is from Paige Crozon.

The first thing on our agenda today was the Vasa Museum. It was a Swedish ship preserved in mud after it sunk in the 1600's. The ship set sail from Stockholm and was suppose to get to Poland. The boat contained 450 soldiers that were ready to fight the Polish in the war. The Vasa ended up sinking 1,500 meters off shore. It sunk within 40 minutes after setting sail. It took 2.5 years to build. The ship was 54 meters tall and less than 12 meters wide.

After, we had a few hours of down time. Quite of few people went shopping or walked around the shore of the Baltic Sea.

This afternoon, we participated in "The Amazing Race" with the team and staff. We had to take pictures at seven locations. We had to go to the City Hall, Canadian Embassy, American Embassy, Royal Palace (Kungliga Slottet), Stockholm Cathedral (Storkyrkan), the Knights House (Riddarhuset), and Birger Jarls Torg. It became very competitive between the groups! But, in the end Ariel, Cole and the local, Awa, took first place with a time of 58 minutes.

The weather has been great thus far and we're having such a great time so far, with so many great things to come! It's been an awesome experience and already have so many cherished memories!
