With the start to the women's basketball season just around the corner, UtahUtes.com will be spotlighting the new members of the women's basketball team in `Getting to Know.' Today's spotlight is freshman Paige Crozon.

What is your favorite basketball memory?
Finishing 8-1 in the 2011 U19 World Championships in Chile with Team Canada.

What is your favorite sport besides basketball?
Hockey and volleyball.

What do you like to do when you are not playing basketball?
I like to play other sports, hang out with friends and family and read.

Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I liked the basketball program and thought it would be the best option for me.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My family because they have always supported me.

My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
The mountains.

The teammate I most admire is who, and why?
Taryn Wicijowski and Michelle Plouffe because of their hard work and dedication. Also, they are unreal basketball players.

What do you like best about Coach Levrets?
His poise, passion and positive attitude.

What are your goals for this year?
Improve as a player and person, and make the Canadian Junior National Team again.

What are your pregame superstitions?
Right shoe before left, always.

What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
After I graduate, I want to be a firefighter.
