Women's Basketball Attends Pac-12 Media Day, Picked Seventh in Preseason Poll

SAN FRANCISCO - Utah women's basketball head coach Anthony Levrets and junior forward Taryn Wicijowski attended Pac-12 Women's Basketball Media Day at the Pac-12 Networks earlier today.

Levrets and Wicijowski filmed spots for use in promoting women's basketball on the Pac-12 Networks, and met with members of the media to discuss the team.

During media day the conference released the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll results, with the Utes picked to finish seventh with 56 points. Leading the poll was Stanford with 121 points, followed by California and UCLA second and third, respectively. The full poll is below.

Utah is scheduled to play at least five times on the Pac-12 Networks this season. Utah's first televised game of the year is against California on Jan. 4. The Utes will have two games televised against Colorado, at Boulder on Jan. 8 and in Salt Lake City on Jan. 13. Utah will also appear on the Pac-12 Network for games against Arizona (Jan. 18) and Oregon State (Feb. 10).
