UNLV Game Coverage: For fans who can't make the trip down to Las Vegas, Rick Bouillon will have the play-by-play call of the UNLV game on 99.1 FM. Live stats of the UNLV game can be accessed at unlvrebels.com.
Primetime Plouffe: Senior forward Michelle Plouffe (Edmonton, Alberta) registered her second consecutive double-double as she had 13 points and a game-high 15 rebounds to go with three assists on Nov. 19 at Utah State. Plouffe leads the Pac-12 with 10.0 defensive rebounds per game and is second in the league in rebounds with 12.0 per game. Showing why she is one of the most complete players in the Pac-12, Plouffe is listed among the league leaders in seven other categories.
Record-Setting Plouffe: With 12 defensive rebounds Tuesday at Utah State, Plouffe now owns the Utah school record with 681 defensive rebounds. With 901 career total rebounds, Plouffe needs to grab five more boards to pass Kalee Whipple (905 from 2006-10) for fourth place on the school's all-time list.
Plouffe is second in career blocks (129) and fourth in rebounding average (8.42), while standing fifth in scoring average (15.1).
Dealing Dani: Sophomore guard Danielle Rodriguez (Downey, Calif.) leads the Pac-12 in assists per game and 3-point field goal percentage. Rodriguez has dished out 6.7 assists per game this season.
Not Shying Away: Junior guard Cheyenne Wilson (Seattle) connected on five 3-pointers for a career-high 15 points on Tuesday at Utah State. She went 5-for-9 from the 3-point line for her team-high 15 points and also grabbed three rebounds against the Aggies.
Potter On the Block: Freshman forward Emily Potter (Winnipeg, Manitoba) is second in the Pac-12 with five blocks this season for a 1.7 block-per-game average. Potter has knocked down .500 of her field goal attempts so far this season (13-26), which is 15th in the Pac-12. Her .750 percentage from the foul line is 15th in the league.
From Way Downtown: The Utes are second in the Pac-12 early this season with a .377 percentage from 3-point territory. Utah is tied with Washington for second in the conference with 8.7 made 3-point field goals per game.
All-Time Series: The Utes lead the all-time series with UNLV by a 29-14 margin. Utah won the last meeting on Mar. 8, 2011 by a score of 55-44 in the first round of the Mountain West Championship. As a freshman, Plouffe had 10 points and 12 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. The win over the Rebels started a postseason run that saw the Utes go on to win the MW tournament and host Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
