Hey Ute hoop fans,
We are finally home after 2 long weeks of travel. Last week we spent our Thanksgiving holiday in San Antonio, Texas and played Detroit and South Alabama. We came away with the win against Detroit and a tough loss against South Alabama. From those two games we learned a lot about ourselves as a team; we play incredibly hard and have made a lot of strides offensively, but have to learn how to play tough without fouling. Foul trouble plagued us in both games, and that will be a focus for us in the coming weeks. Outside of basketball we had a lot of fun in downtown San Antonio. The Riverwalk was a great place to stay and tour, and we had an excellent Thanksgiving dinner together. Despite not being with our own families, being with our basketball family was a true blessing.
This week we take on one of our in-state rivals Weber State. We are looking forward to implementing some of the new strategies both offensively and defensively, as well as playing at home finally! Hope to see some of you there!
