After four straight games away from home, the University of Utah women's basketball team returns to the Huntsman Center to host Nevada on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. MT.

The Utes are 2-4 through their first six games of this season. Utah picked up its first road win of the season, 66-59, at UNLV on Nov. 26 before dropping a pair of contests at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout. The Utes lost to Butler, 66-54, Nov. 29 before a 72-65 setback to Marquette on Nov. 30.

Nevada Game Coverage: For fans who can't make the Huntsman Center, Rick Bouillon will have the play-by-play call of the action at ESPN700. Links to a live video stream as well as live stats will be available on the right-hand side of the women's basketball schedule page at utahutes.com.

Plouffe Makes Plays: Senior forward Michelle Plouffe (Edmonton, Alberta) leads the Pac-12 with 8.8 defensive rebounds per game and is tied for second in the league in rebounds with 11.5 per game.

Plouffe In the Record Books: Plouffe became Utah's fourth all-time leading rebounder Tuesday at UNLV and now has 934 over her career. She is now 81 away from tying Kim (Smith) Gaucher (1,015 from 2002-06) for third place in school history.

Dealing Dani: Sophomore guard Danielle Rodriguez (Downey, Calif.) leads the Pac-12 in assists per game and is fifth in 3-point field goal percentage. Rodriguez has dished out 5.7 assists per game this season.

Fresh Utes: Utah's freshman class has wasted little time in waiting to contribute. Four freshmen may be on the court at one for the Utes. Ute newcomers have played 377 of a possible 1200 minutes this season, accounting for 31.41 percent of the playing time. The group has scored 117 of Utah' 388 points (.302) through the first six games and 61 of the team's 215 rebounds (.284).

Malia Nawahine (Springville, Utah) has started each of the last three games. She had seven points and a season-high two steals on Nov. 29 against Butler and handed out a season-high two assists Nov. 26 at UNLV.

Points For Potter: Freshman forward Emily Potter (Winnipeg, Manitoba) is eighth in the Pac-12 with six blocks this season for a 1.0 block-per-game average. She is fourth among all Pac-12 freshmen in blocked shots. Potter has knocked down .457 of her field goal attempts so far this season (21-46).
