Utah's Georgia Dabritz was named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week and Tory Wilson earned the Pac-12's Special Performance of the Week for their efforts in Utah's victory over Oregon State, West Virginia and Southern Utah last Saturday.
Dabritz won the all-around, bars, beam and floor in leading Utah to the fifth-best score in the nation this year (196.950). The sophomore All-American from Newburyport, Mass., set career marks in the all-around (39.525) and on beam (9.9), while posting a 9.90 on bars and a 9.875 on floor. She scored a 9.85 on the vault. She is ranked fourth in the nation this week in the all-around.
Wilson won the vault for the second straight week, scoring a career-tying 9.95. The sophomore All-American from Albuquerque, N.M., also competed on beam and floor and set a career mark on the beam with a 9.875 to tie for second place. Wilson is ranked fourth in the nation this week on the vault.
It is the first career Pac-12 weekly award for both Utes. Dabritz was last year's Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and the 2012 Pac-12 uneven bar champion.
