WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--
For the third-consecutive week, Utah junior gymnast Georgia Dabritz has been named the Pac-12 Specialist of the Week. Dabritz won all three of her events in Utah's win over UCLA, scoring a 9.975 on vault and floor and a 9.95 on bars.
The junior from Newburyport, Mass., is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation on bars and is tied for No. 2 on vault and No. 5 on floor. She is the only gymnast in the nation ranked in the top five on three different events. With her sweep against the Bruins, Dabritz has now won seven of the nine routines she has performed.
It is the sixth career weekly Pac-12 award for Dabritz, who has been named Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week twice and Specialist of the Week four times.
The Dabritz-led No. 4 Utes will try to get coach Greg Marsden his 1,000th career win this Saturday at No. 19 Arizona State.
