The No. 5 Utah gymnastics team (9-3, 6-1 Pac-12) hosts No. 6 Georgia (6-4, 4-2 SEC) for Senior Night on Saturday, Mar. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. It is the final home meet, and the final regular season meet, for the Utes who will honor four seniors in a pre-meet ceremony. The meet will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks and live scores can be found at www.UtahUtes.com.

There will be a special recognition during the team introductions Saturday for seniors Nansy Damianova, Lia Del Priore, Hailee Hansen and Mary Beth Lofgren ... Fans will receive a light-up promotional item and should be in their seats by 6:40 p.m. for the pre-meet intros and senior recognition ... Utah and Georgia have one of the country's best non-conference gymnastics rivalries (Georgia leads the all-time series 25-22-1), with both teams claiming 10 national championships. The two teams are tied for second in the country with 18 NCAA Super Six appearances.

Despite a close loss to Michigan and UCLA last week in Ann Arbor, Mich., the Utes moved up a position in the national rankings to No. 5. The reason? The Utes tallied their season-best road score--a 197.350--which allowed them to toss a 196.300 score at Stanford from their regional qualifying score calculation ... Utah's loss to UCLA last week does not count toward the conference standings. Utah and UCLA competed on Jan. 25 in a conference meet, with Utah holding the upper hand ... Postseason play for the Utes begins next week at the Pac-12 Championships in Berkeley, Calif., on Saturday, Mar. 22. The NCAA Regionals are scheduled for April 5 at a site TBA. Schools will learn their regional destinations on Monday, Mar. 24. Possible sites are: Minneapolis, Minn., Athens, Ga., Fayetteville, Ark., Baton Rouge, La., State College, Pa. and Seattle, Wash.

The Utes, who are averaging 14,206 fans to their home meets this season, are positioned to win their 30th national gymnastics attendance title and their fourth all-sports women's attendance title. Utah's next crowd of 14,000 will also be the 30th in school history. Only three times since 1984 has another team captured the gymnastics attendance title and Utah finished second those years (1997, 2001 and 2004). The Utes averaged an NCAA gymnastics-record 14,352 fans per home meet in 2012 and their three previous all-women's sports attendance titles came in 2010, 2011 and 2014.

Utah junior All-American Georgia Dabritz is ranked No. 1 in the nation this week on both bars (where she is tied with Georgia's Chelsea Davis) and floor. Dabritz, who is also tied for No. 16 on vault, is one of three Utes with a No. 1 national ranking. Tory Wilson and Kailah Delaney are tied for first in the nation on vault for the second week in a row.

Utah is No. 5 in the national rankings this week, a one-place improvement from last week's rankings. The Utes are No. 2 in the nation on vault (49.495 regional qualifying score) and floor (49.495), No. 4 on bars (49.395) and are tied for 17th on beam (48.995). Georgia Dabritz is No. 1 on bars (9.940 RQS, tie) and floor (9.965), and Tory Wilson and Kailah Delaney are tied for No. 1 on vault (9.940 RQS). Wilson is also No. 10 in the all-around (39.445), Nansy Damianova is No. 11 on bars (9.90, tie) and No. 12 on floor (9.910), and Dabritz is tied for 16th on vault (9.905). See page 3 for complete Utah rankings.

Tory Wilson, ranked No. 10 in the country, is the top-ranked Pac-12 all-arounder with a 39.445 regional qualifying score. With Georgia Dabritz (39.625 season all-around best) out of the beam lineup indefinitely with hip injury, Wilson is Utah's only all-arounder ... 2014 Ute individual winners: Dabritz (17), Wilson (9), Kailah Delaney (5), Corrie Lothrop (2), Nansy Damianova (3), Mary Beth Lofgren (3) and Lia Del Priore (1) ... The Utes have completed 201-216 routines without a fall. Gymnasts who have hit every routine are Dabritz (29-29), Becky Tutka (19-19) and Lia Del Priore (10-10).

Seniors Nansy Damianova, Lia Del Priore, Hailee Hansen and Mary Beth Lofgren will compete in the Huntsman Center for the last time this Saturday. Damianova (bars and floor), Hansen (bars) and Lofgren (beam) are All-Americans, while Del Priore is a three-year starter who scored a perfect 10.0 on floor last season ...
