SALT LAKE CITY -
The national office has announced the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Regional fields and the No. 7 ranked Utes are headed to Berkeley, Calif., and a West Regional appointment with No. 6 Nebraska, No. 18 Missouri, Washington, Sacramento State and host California on Saturday, April 14. The West Regional will be held in Haas Pavilion starting at 6 p.m. Pacific Time (7 p.m. Mountain Time).
The Utes will start the meet on the vault, receiving the "Olympic" rotation via a blind draw conducted by the NCAA office. Utah's rotation order will be vault, bye, bars, beam, bye and floor. The individual all-arounder competing with Utah is Alise Blackwell of San Jose State.
Utah will practice today, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of this week, and Monday and Tuesday of next week, before heading to Berkeley on Thursday. All practices in Salt Lake City begin at 1:30 p.m., with interviews conducted at 1 p.m. in the Dumke Center. At Cal on Friday, April 13, The Utes have been designated a 2 p.m. (Pacific Time) practice slot.

A total of six regionals will be held on Saturday, April 14, all starting at 6 p.m. local time. The top two teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships in Salt Lake City on April 26-28.
