Short People Appreciation & Autograph Meet Saturday


he No. 6 Utah gymnasts (4-1, 2-1 Pac-12) have two of their most popular annual promotions on tap for their Saturday, Feb. 13 meet against Washington (3-4, 2-0 Pac-12). Saturday’s meet, which starts at 7 p.m. MT, is Short People Appreciation and Autograph night.

Ute Gymnasts Overtaken by UCLA on Final Routine, 197.100-197.075


UCLA got a 9.95 on the final routine of the day between two top-10 gymnastics teams to sneak past Utah 197.100-197.075 in Pauley Pavilion. Shutting out a raucous, partisan crowd of 7,546 when the meet was on the line, sophomore Maddy Stover scored a 9.90 beam on Utah’s final routine, only to see UCLA’s Sadiqua Bynum get a 9.95 on floor and lift the Bruins to victory.

No. 7 Ute Gymnasts at No. 5 UCLA on Saturday


The No. 7 Utah gymnasts (4-0, 2-0 Pac-12) will face their stiffest test to date on Saturday, Feb. 6 vs. No. 5 UCLA (2-2, 1-1 Pac-12) in Los Angeles. The meet will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks starting at 1 p.m. PT/2 p.m. MT. Live commentary can be found at UtahUtes.com.

Utah's Sabrina Schwab was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after her career highs helped Utah to its best score of the season in a 197.150-194.850 win over No. 20 Arizona Monday.
