Utah Gymnastics Signs Four to National Letters of Intent


The Utah gymnastics team has signed four gymnasts to National Letters of Intent, including U.S. Senior National Team member MyKayla Skinner (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Junior Olympic qualifiers Shannon McNatt (Houston, Texas), MaKenna Merrell (Pleasant Grove, Utah) and Erika Muhaw (Montville , N.J.).

Utah Athletics Participates in Native American Heritage Month


The Utah athletics department will join the Ute tribe in celebrating Native American Heritage Month in November. The Ute Proud campaign unveiled by the athletics department and the Ute tribe two months ago will expand from primarily an educational effort to a celebration of the partnership throughout November.

2015 Utah Gymnastics Schedule Finalized


The Pac-12 Networks' winter sports programming was finalized today and all of Utah's regular season gymnastics meets will be held in prime time on Friday or Saturday. The defending Pac-12 champion Utes will make seven network television appearances.

The Utah gymnasts kicked off an exciting Labor Day weekend to the cheers of 45,000-plus fans before leaving on a three-day mountain retreat. During a break in Utah's season-opening football game, the 2014 Red Rocks were invited out on the field and introduced as the school's first Pac-12 champion team to the delight of a sold-out Rice-Eccles Stadium.
