Utah’s Georgia Dabritz Named NCAA Today’s Top 10 Award Winner


Utah gymnast Georgia Dabritz, who as a senior last year won the NCAA uneven bar championship while leading Utah to a runner-up team finish, has been named a recipient of the NCAA Today’s Top 10 Award. The Today’s Top 10 Award is given each year by the NCAA to honor 10 outstanding senior student-athletes across all divisions, male and female, from the preceding calendar year.

Utah Gymnastics Signs Two to National Letters of Intent


The 2015 NCAA runner-up Utah gymnastics team announced that Missy Reinstadtler, a 2014 Senior International Elite, from Brick, N.J., and Kim Tessen, a two-time Junior Olympic national qualifier from Orem, Utah, signed National Letters of Intent today. Joining them next fall at Utah will be MyKayla Skinner, who recently qualified for her second World Championships as a USA National team member.

Red Rocks Show Off in Intra-squad Meet


The excitement of competing in an instra-squad meet last Friday has carried into this week's practices. According to co-head coach Megan Marsden, the Ute gymnasts came into Monday's workout inspired from the experience of going live before fans in what she coined a "Showoff Day."

Utah Student-Athletes Graduating at 83% Clip


The NCAA's 2014-15 Graduation Success Rate (GSR) was released today and reported that 83-percent of student-athletes at the University of Utah graduated within six years from the time they enrolled as freshmen.

Gymnasts to Hold Public Intra-Squad on Friday


The two-time defending Pac-12 champion Utah gymnastics team will get a taste of competition on Friday when it conducts a Red-White intra-squad meet. The practice meet will begin at 2 p.m. in the Dumke Center and is open to the public.
