Crimson Club Announces 2014 Hall of Fame Class

The University of Utah will enshrine five former Ute athletes, one former coach and one team into the Crimson Club Athletics Fund Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 5 at Rice-Eccles Stadium & Tower. Honored at the 2014 Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be Kevin Dyson (football), Elaine Elliott (women's basketball coach), Amy Kofoed (soccer), Andre Miller (men's basketball), Kim Turner (volleyball), Sandy Woolsey (gymnastics) and the 1964 Liberty Bowl team.

10 Ute Gymnasts Named Academic All-Conference

The Pac-12 champion Utah gymnastics team is also a champion in the classroom after earning 10 Pac-12 Conference All-Academic awards--the most of any school. Utes received seven of the 12 first-team citations and also had three gymnasts make the second team.

Gymnastics to Compete at NCAA Championships Apr. 18-20

The Utes will begin competition at the 2014 NCAA Championships on Friday, Apr. 18 in Birmingham, Ala., at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC). Utah will compete in the evening semifinal, which starts at 7 p.m. CT (6 p.m. MT).

NCAA Gymnastics Championships Field Set

The NCAA announced the pairings and rotations for the 2014 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships today and Utah will compete in the evening semifinal on Friday, Apr. 18 in the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Ala. In Utah's semifinal are host Alabama, Florida, UCLA, Nebraska and Penn State.

Ute Gymnasts Win Regionals, Qualify for NCAA Championships

The Utah gymnastics team rode a clutch performance on the balance beam and a big floor score to take a come-from-behind victory at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional. Utah, which scored a 197.300, advances to a record 39th-consecutive national championship, along with runner-up UCLA (196.600).
