Tipton also put in a pair of assists and Melanie Hewitt and Jessica Narajowski each had one. Hewitt also contributed an amazing backsave when goalkeeper Tawni Martineau was lured from the box.

Coach Amy Freeman Winslow
" The Oregon game was a good wake-up call. The team needed to see that this is a 90 minute game and that it's not over even when you're winning 4-0. They learned that they've got to keep on going to the end. This weekend, going against Hawaii, the key is to not be distracted by the atmosphere. Our goal is to go in and win, and try not to get wrapped up in all the Hawaiian things to do. We've got to go hard and play a strong 90 minute game."
