Coach Amy Freeman Winslow
"We turned our disappointment from Thursday's loss into a positive, focusing our energy offensively and defensively. The athletes are very close as a team and when they're on, they're on. Against Fresno State we were very focused and organized.
This weekend we're in a situation where we have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. We accomplished our goal to get into the WAC Championships and now we're setting our sights on winning the tournament. If we beat BYU, we help position ourselves for that, and they're (the Cougars) beatable. There isn't such a huge gap between BYU and the other division schools anymore and we are going to match up well if we play organized ball. We're going in with a vengeance. We're fired up and ready to win."
