Friday's Match Marks "Power in Pink" Game...
Utah's match against the Beavers will mark the annual "Power in Pink" game. Now in its fourth year, "Power in Pink" is a campaign in which Utah Athletics teams up with the Hunstman Cancer Institute to help raise awareness of breast cancer and its causes, as well as early detection methods. Utah Women's Soccer will be the first team this year to host a "Power in Pink" game, followed by Utah Volleyball on Saturday. Utes Return Home Looking to Right Road Wrongs...
Utah is 5-1 at home this year, including five consecutive victories, coming into this weekend. However, the Utes are 1-6-1 on the road, including back-to-back losses last weekend. According to head coach Rich Manning following Sunday's loss, "...we have to play with that same belief and confidence that we showed in our previous few games. I think going forward for this team it's more about our mindset than anything."

The Utes are averaging 2.0 goals-per-game at home this year, including a three-goal tally in three of their five wins.

Scouting this Weekend's Opposition...
Oregon State Beavers
Oregon State is coming off a weekend sweep in which the Beavers didn't allow a single goal, defeating Arizona State, 2-0, and Arizona, 1-0. OSU has won six of its last seven games, with its only loss in that stretch coming at UCLA, 1-0.

Oregon State is led offensively by Chelsea Buckland and Jenna Richardson, who have scored six goals apiece to combine for half of the Beavers' 24 scores on the season. Buckland is also tied for the team lead in assists with four, totaling a team-high 16 points. Additionally, she leads the team in shots with 35 and shots-on-goal with 14.

In net for the Beavers, Colleen Boyd owns a 7-3-1 record with five shutouts. She has allowed just six goals while making 31 saves, for a goals-against-average of 0.56 and a .838 save percentage. Audrey Bernier-Larose has also appeared in three games, posting one shutout and making seven saves.

Oregon State is guided by fourth-year coach Linus Rhode, who holds a 45-26-5 record.

The All-Time Series...
Utah is 0-2 all-time against Oregon State. The Beavers have won both games by a score of 1-0, including a victory at Ute Field in non-conference play last season. In their first meeting, a 2008 contest in Beaverton, Ore., the Beavers took the win in overtime when a fortuitous mis-hit on a cross attempt spun over the Ute goalkeeper's head and in for the win.

Dalley Earns National and Conference Honors...
Senior forward Erin Dalley earned a pair of prestigous awards last week as she was named to the Soccer America Women's Team of the Week and was selected as the Pac-12 Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Her awards marked first time a Soccer America weekly honored was bestowed upon a Ute since 2005 and Utah's first weekly Pac-12 honor in women's soccer as a member of the conference.

Debut Goal-Scorers Filling Up Stat Sheet...
Ten different Utes have hit the back of the net this year, including seven players who have scored their first career goals. Most recently, it was redshirt sophomore Stephanie Lemeza who scored the first of her career as she tallied the third goal against Arizona on Sunday.

Six Different Utes Have Tallied Game Winners...
Six different Utes have netted the game-winning goal in Utah's six victories this year. Three of those game winners also accounted for the first career goal for those players, including Leslie Muirhead (vs. ISU), Avery Ford (vs. Weber State) and McKel Wall (vs. UC Riverside). The other winners came from Dalley (vs. Utah Valley and vs. Arizona), Harley Spier (at Oregon) and Lauren Dudley (vs. Arizona State).

With the strikes from Ford and Wall, Utah has had two or more freshman secure game-winning goals in the same season for the first time since Adele Letro and Katy Reineke did so in 2005. Letro finished that season with a team-high seven goals, including three game winners.

Freshmen Account for More Than One Third of Utah's Points...
Six of the seven Utah freshmen who have seen the field this year have tallied points and all seven have cracked the starting lineup at least once. Forward Jill Robison, Ford and Wall have all scored goals, while forward Katie Taylor, Robison, midfielder Ashton Hall and defender Sarah Duncan have all logged assists. In total, freshmen have racked up four goals and 10 assists for 18 of Utah's 49 total points.

Utes Win Inaugural Pac-12 Game...
With the 2-0 win at Oregon on Sept. 23, Utah set several milestones regarding its membership in the Pac-12. The Utes earned their first overall victory, first road win, first shutout and scored their first goals as members of the newly expanded 12-team conference.

Manning Victorious in 200th Game...
Utah's 3-1 win against Idaho State on Sept. 18 marked Rich Manning's 200th career game as the head coach of the Utes. Now in his 10th season guiding the squad, Manning is the third-longest tenured head coach in the Pac-12, trailing Washington's Leslie Gallimore (18th season) and Colorado's Bill Hempen (11th season).

Local Impact...
At least six of the Utes' starting 11 in each of the last eight games have hailed from the state of Utah. Of Utah's 14 goals during that span, 11 of them have been registered by natives of the Beehive State. The Utes carry 14 players from Utah on the roster and 11 of them have made starts this year.

Three Utes Named to SMC Classic All-Tournament Team... Utah had three players named to the Saint Mary's Classic All-Tournament Team on Sept. 11 as Dudley, Wall and Robison each recieved the honor.
