SALT LAKE CITY - Seventeen members of the Utah women's soccer team have earned Pac-12 Conference academic honors, the conference office announced today. Four student-athletes, Sarah Duncan, Ashton Hall, Katie Rigby and Megan Trabert were named to the second team while 13 other Utes earned honorable mention accolades.

Utah's Second Team honorees:
Sarah Duncan, 3.81, Art
Ashton Hall, 3.73, Psychology
Katie Rigby, 3.88, Undecided
Megan Trabert, 3.86, Undecided

Utah's Honorable Mention honorees:
Kaycee Buckley – 3.71, Sophomore, Undecided
Jen Ericson – 3.45, Senior, Exercise and Sport Sciences
Avery Ford – 3.25, Junior, Health Promotion and Education
Abby Groth – 3.27, Junior, Communications

Since joining the Pac-12, Utah women's soccer has had 37 players earn academic honors from the conference, including nine student-athletes in 2011 and 12 in 2012. Ericson, Hutton, Muirhead, Spier and Wisner were among the academic honorees for a third-straight year while Ford, Groth, Hall, Okapal and Taylor earned awards for a second-straight season.

In order to earn All-Academic status, student-athletes must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and either be a starter or significant contributor.
