SALT LAKE CITY - Utah soccer standouts Jenny Hutton, Lindsey Luke and Katie Taylor were selected as all-Pacific Region choices by the NSCAA. The three Utes honored are the most since 2006.

Hutton picked up a spot on the second team after earning second-team all-Pac-12 honors earlier this season. The senior defender was a steadying influence for the Ute defense, starting every game and seamlessly moving between the center back and outside back positions. She was also an offensive threat, finishing second on the team with four assists.

Luke was chosen to the third team after being named second team all-Pac-12 and earning two conference Defensive Player of the Week awards. After being on the league's all-freshman team last year, Luke set the Utah single-season shutout mark this year with nine blankings. She finished with a goals-against average of 0.57, 19th in the nation and her save percentage (.894) ranked fifth nationally.

Taylor started every game for the Utes and joined Luke on the third team. The junior midfielder led the team in goals and points, helping them to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006 and sixth time overall. She not only scored the game-winning goal against local rival Southern Utah but also the dramatic overtime decider at Washington State.
