Tia Palauni, a former team captain for the Utes, will serve as a student manager during the 2013 season after earning Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition in 2012. She is the school-record holder with 113 career walks and had 48 career extra-base hits (24 home runs, 17 doubles and seven triples) and 87 career RBI during her playing career.
