All For Flippen: Flippen hit .615 in four games last week for the Utes with five runs scored, four doubles and two RBI against BYU and Oregon. Flippen posted a game-high two hits in four at-bats in the Mar. 20 1-0 win against BYU. She laid down a bunt single in the third frame before hitting a double to right field in the ninth to set up the Utes' walk-off hit. Flippen is seventh with a .432 batting average and has posted two or more hits in 11 different games this season, which has her tied with Dickman for team-high honors in 2014. Flippen is now second on the team with 35 hits this season. Flippen is currently on a nine-game hit streak and now has driven in 15 runs in this season and six games with multiple RBI.

Nieto Pitches In: Utah sophomore pitcher Kayce Nieto (Farmington Hills, Mich.) threw nine shutout innings on Mar. 20 against BYU and only gave four hits to the Cougars. She has thrown four complete games in 2014 with a pair of complete-game shutouts. Nieto is eighth in the Pac-12 with a team-high mark of 78.1 innings pitched.

Kate Comes Up Clutch: Dickman is fifth in the Pac-12 in the latest statistical rankings and currently holds a .446 batting average through 23 games.
