The University of Utah softball team continues its Pac-12 Conference schedule by hosting Oregon State this weekend in Salt Lake City, starting TONIGHT at 6 p.m. MT.

The Utes then return to Utah Softball Stadium to host Oregon State in a three-game Pac-12 set over the weekend.

Game one of the series will be Friday, Apr. 4 at 6 p.m. MT before the middle game on Saturday, Apr. 5 at 6 p.m. MT and the finale on Sunday, Apr. 6 will begin at 12 p.m. MT.

The Utes are 12-15 overall with a 1-7 mark in Pac-12 play and currently find themselves on a three-game losing skid.

Live Coverage: All three games of the Oregon State series will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks. Live stats of all five games this week will be available at utahutes.com. Idaho State Recap: Freshman first baseman Bridget Castro (Bellflower, Calif.) launched a two-run homer over the left-field fence with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Utah a walk-off 8-6 win over Idaho State on Mar. 26 at Utah Softball Stadium.

With the game tied at six runs apiece in the bottom of the seventh, Utah (12-12) started its rally when freshman shortstop Anissa Urtez (Long Beach, Calif.) hit a triple to center field before Castro belted a two-run homer to clinch the win for the Utes.

Taking Two: After leading the Pac-12 and finishing second in the nation in double plays in 2013, the Utes are back at it this season. Utah's defense once again leads the Pac-12 this season after converting 23 double plays through 27 games. The Utes turned a pair of double plays on Mar. 29 against the Bruins.

Flippen For the Utes: Freshman second baseman Hannah Flippen (Bonita, Calif.) is now sixth in the Pac-12 with a .424 batting average. She tied for the team lead with 12 multi-hit games this season to go with 39 hits and 16 RBI this season.

Cordova Pitches In: Freshman right-hander Sammy Cordova (Huntington Beach, Calif.) made two appearances against Idaho State and at No. 1 UCLA, totaling 11.0 innings. Cordova went 5.0 innings in her fifth start and 16th appearance of the season in a no-decision on Mar. 26 against Idaho State. She allowed five earned runs on eight hits with a pair of strikeouts. Cordova was solid on the mound as she threw 3.2 shutout innings in the series finale against No. 1 UCLA on Mar. 30.

Kate in the Clutch: Junior left fielder Kate Dickman (Mission Viejo, Calif.) is seventh in the Pac-12 in the latest statistical rankings and currently holds a .421 batting average through 27 games. The 2013 Pac-12 All-Conference Second Team selection is tied for the team lead with 12 extra-base hits (eight doubles, two triples and two home runs) and leads the squad with 22 runs scored and is second with 17 RBI. She leads the team and ranks 10th in the Pac-12 with 40 hits.

Castro Cashes In: Castro leads the team with four round-trippers in 2014. She leads the Pac-12 after being on the closing end of 16 double plays and is tied for sixth in the Pac-12 with three sacrifice flies this season.

Urtez Urges on the Utes: Urtez is tied for second in the Pac-12 with three triples this season and currently owns team-high honors with 23 RBI.
