The University of Utah softball team resumes Pac-12 Conference play against No. 2/3 Arizona State in a three-game series this weekend at Utah Softball Stadium. The Arizona State series in Salt Lake City starts Friday at 6 p.m. MT. The middle contest of the three-game set on Saturday is slated for 1 p.m. MT with Sunday's finale to begin at 12 p.m. MT.
In its most recent Pac-12 series, Utah lost two of three at Oregon State and stands 4-11 in league games. The Utes picked up a 14-3 win in six innings on Wednesday at Utah State to improve to 19-23-1 overall this season.

Upcoming Promotions: Friday's series opener against Arizona State will be the annual Crimson Game/LDSSA Night, which will feature re-game kickball at McCarthey Family Track & Field and a BBQ for current Utah student-athletes.
Utah State Review: Katelyn Elliott (Spanish Fork, Utah) connected on a grand slam and Jackie Sweet (Corona, Calif.) went 3-for-4 as Utah earned a 14-3 win in six innings at Utah State on Wednesday. Utah tied its season high with 14 runs and also tagged four doubles against the Aggies, which also ties for its season high. Freshman third baseman Kristen Stewart (Covina, Calif.) drove in a season-high three runs and scored twice.
Home Sweet Home: The Utes have won three of their last four games against Pac-12 foes in their new home, Utah Softball Stadium. Utah has split its first six Pac-12 games at USS. Sweet is hitting .586 within the friendly confines of USS after going 17-of-29 with two home runs, two triples and two doubles for a 1.000 slugging percentage and 11 RBI. Dickman is hitting .455 at the plate during home games with 10 hits in 22 official at-bats, including four triples, two home runs and a double for nine RBI. Freshman pitcher Kayce Nieto (Farmington Hills, Mich.) is 3-0 at home with a 2.51 ERA with two complete games.
Kate Cashes In: Dickman extended her current team-high hit streak to 10 games by going 2-for-3 with two RBI on Wednesday at USU. Dickman has driven in a team-high 29 RBI this season. She leads the Utes with 10th multi-hit efforts and eighth multi-RBI outings.
