SALT LAKE CITY - In its last match of the regular season, University of Utah Women's Tennis honored its seniors by collecting a 4-1 win over the Colorado Buffs at Coach Mike's Tennis Academy.
"It was a match we had to have," said Utah head coach Mat Iandolo. "While it wasn't pretty at times, we managed to pull through. This puts us in good position NCAA-wise and it also gives us a positive to head into the Pac-12 tournament with."

Utah took a 2-0 lead after Richter handily defeated Manzi at No. 4 singles (6-2, 6-1), while Miles followed up with a win of her own at No. 5 over Tiefel (6-3, 6-3).
The Buffs tallied a point as Craig lost a tough No. 3 match to Nuria Ormeño, 6-4, 7-5.
The Utes took the remaining three matches into three sets before da Rosa clinched the win for Utah over Alkhovik (6-2, 0-6, 6-4). The remaining matches were called.
