SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team travels to Albuquerque, N. M., this weekend for the UNM Fall Invitational at the Linda Estes Tennis Center. Four players will represent the Utes, including junior Lucia Kovarcikova, redshirt junior Paige Miles, and sophomores Tereza Bekerova and Natasha Smith.

"We look forward to Albuquerque to compete this weekend with a limited squad," said head coach Mat Iandolo. "It should be a great event for the young women who are going. There will be at least three top 25 schools there, so we are loking forward to it."

The Competition
Utah's competition in the UNM Fall Invitational includes host New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas El Paso, Western New Mexico, Northern Arizona, and Texas Tech.

Last Time Out
In Utah's appearance at the USTA/ITA Mountain Regional Championships in Las Vegas, Nev., Miles and Bekerova teamed up in doubles to capture the championship title, while junior Sarah Pham reached the singles final round after upsetting first-seeded No. 43 Lucia Batta in the semifinals.
