One of the most decorated players in Utah volleyball history, Karolina Bartkowiak concluded her first season on the Ute coaching staff as a volunteer assistant.

During her playing career at Utah from 2007 through 2010, Bartkowiak established herself as one of the top players in the Mountain West Conference in 2009. She was a three-time All-MWC selection as well as a two-time member of the AVCA's West Region Honorable Mention Team. She finished her career ninth in school history with 1,115 career kills and became the 12th member of Utah's 1,000-kill club on Oct. 29, 2010 against BYU.

2010: Hit a season-high 19 kills with seven blocks against BYU (10/29) and earned second MWC Player of the Week award on Nov. 1, which was the fifth of her career ... 2010 Northwestern Challenge Most Valuable Player and MWC Player of the Week on Sept. 7 ... had 17 kills and set season highs in attempts (39) and digs (14) at Arizona State on Sept. 18 ... has 14 double-doubles this season and 26 over her career ... tied season high with seven blocks against Air Force on Nov. 10.

2009: Team tri-captain ... ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII selection ... Preseason All-MWC selection and three-time MWC Player of the Week ... led team and was sixth in the MWC with 3.04 kills per set and had a .283 hitting percentage ... hit for a career-high .800 hitting percentage and had six blocks against Weber State (10/6) ... hit a career-high 22 kills and had 17 digs against BYU (9/25) to earn second MWC Player of the Week selection of season (9/28) ... had a season-high seven blocks at Long Beach State (11/28) ... also had six blocks against San Diego State (9/19) ... earned the first MWC Player of the Week award of this season (8/31), and of her career, after being named the Utah Classic Most Valuable Player ... posted first 12 double-doubles of her career ... had a career-high 23 digs and team-high-tying 14 kills against TCU (10/8) to earn third POW ... served a career-high two aces twice: against Missouri (9/5) and Wyoming (10/15) ... led or tied for team lead in kills 16 times, digs once (15 against Cal Poly (9/1) and blocks three times (six against SDSU (9/19), Weber St. (10/6) and four against Colorado St. (10/17)) ... 2008: All-MWC selection ... played in 31 of 32 matches, totaling 104 sets ... finished second in the Mountain West Conference with a .354 hitting percentage (209-62-415) ... fourth on the team with 2.01 kills and 0.77 blocks per set ... posted a new school NCAA Tournament single-match record with a .667 hitting percentage, totaling seven kills on nine attack attempts against Washington (12/12) in the West Regional semifinal ... had five kills on seven swings in the third set alone against Furman (12/5) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... hit for a career-high .769 percentage with 10 kills on 13 attempts and no errors to go with six blocks against Houston (9/6) in the New Mexico State Tournament ... hit for a .714 mark at San Diego State (11/6) ... fourth on the team with 2.01 kills and 0.77 blocks per set ... led or tied for team lead in kills twice ... led team in blocks twice ... hit double figures in kills six times ... pounded down a season-high 13 kills at New Mexico State (9/7) ... scored 11 kills on three separate occasions: Purdue (10/13), at New Mexico (10/4) and at SDSU (11/6) ... came up with a season-high seven blocks at UNLV (11/8) ... recorded six blocks at UNM (10/4) ... had season-high four digs at Weber State (9/30) ... came up with 36 assists for a 0.35 assist-per-set average ... dished out 19 assists ...
