At least six Utah volleyball home matches will be held in Crimson Court due to renovation of the Huntsman Center. The home weekend series against Arizona (Fri., Oct. 3) and Arizona State (Sun., Oct. 5) may be played in either Crimson Court or the Jon M. Huntsman Center, based on completion of the JHC renovation.
"We are excited to be on television 14 times during the 2014 season," Utah Head Coach Beth Launiere said. "The commitment by the Pac-12 Conference and Pac-12 Networks to Pac-12 women's volleyball is unprecedented," Launiere said.
"The renovations to the Huntsman Center will be great in the long run, even though there will be some inconvenience at the beginning of the season. While we absolutely love the Huntsman Center as our regular venue now, we certainly don't mind playing in Crimson Court as it has been a great home to us for many years."
The Pac-12 Networks will broadcast a total of 99 women's volleyball matches throughout the regular season.
Seventeen of Utah's 31 regular-season matches will be against 10 teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season, including Final Four qualifier Washington.
In what many consider the best collegiate volleyball conference in the country, the Pac-12, the Utes will play six matches against three teams who advanced to the Elite Eight last season (Washington (twice), USC (twice) and Stanford (twice)).
