The University of Utah volleyball team hits the road for the second consecutive week with a pair of matches this weekend at Oregon State and No. 21 Oregon. Utah takes on Oregon State Friday at 6 p.m. PT before heading to No. 21 Oregon on Sunday at 12 p.m. PT. The Utes stand 14-4 overall and are 3-3 in conference play with a 4-1 mark in true road matches this season.

Cal Recap: Four Utes hit double-digits in kills and three registered double-doubles as Utah defeated California, 3-1 (25-23, 17-25, 25-20, 25-16) on Sunday evening at Haas Pavilion.

Schofield Named Pac-12 DPOW: Junior outside hitter Chelsey Schofield (Provo, Utah) was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week. This is the first time Schofield has received a weekly honor and she is the second Ute to earn the award this season. Schofield turned in a team-high 4.14 digs per set last week at No. 8 Stanford and California. She also tied for the team lead with 2.57 kills per set to go with 0.43 blocks and 0.14 service aces per set.

Breaking (Redd) Brandon: Senior middle blocker Erin Redd-Brandon (Spanish Fork, Utah) had nine blocks (one block solo and eight block assists) last weekend to improve her career total to 490 (464 block assists and 26 block solos). Redd-Brandon is fourth in school history in block assists and stands eight away from moving past McKelle Stilson (497 from 1998-2001) into fourth on the total blocks list.

Odale on the Offensive: Senior outside hitter Morgan Odale (Star, Idaho) registered 11 digs and 10 kills during Sunday's win at Cal for her fifth double-double of 2013 and 26th of her career. She has eight matches with 10 or more kills this season and 60 over her career, while registering nine double-digit-dig efforts in 2013 and 45 over her career.

Consistently Dalton: Junior right-side hitter Shelby Dalton (Moab, Utah) has had seven double-digit-kill matches in Utah's last eight contests. Dalton posted a team-high 13 kills on a .267 hitting percentage to go with six blocks during Sunday's win at California. Dalton has a total of 11 such performances this season and 19 over her career.
