2011 Pac-12 All-Academic Team Get Acrobat Reader

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Four University of Utah student-athletes were named to the Pac-12 Women's Volleyball All-Academic Team, the conference office announced Wednesday. Junior setter McKenzie Odale and sophomore middle blocker Erin Redd were second-team selections, while Danielle Killpack, Abby Simmons earned Honorable Mention status.

Odale and Redd are both two-time Academic All-Conference honorees. Odale has also been a Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete award recipient the last two years, while Redd picked up the award as a freshman.

Killpack and Simmons are both three-time all-academic team selections. Killpack was also a three-time MWC Scholar-Athlete award winner, while Simmons was honored as an MWC Scholar-Athlete each of the last two years.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 and be either a starter or significant contributor.
